Red Alert 2 game for PC in Command and Conquer series produced by Westwood Pacific is a strategy game providing real-time experience. This game was first released back in October 2000 for Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to the previous version named Red Alert. It is also a further expansion of C&C Yuri Revenge.
There are two main playable sides one is the Soviets, and the other is the Allies side. These both factions appeared in the previous version of Red Alert 2 game i.e. Red Alert. There is an alternate ending mode which is opposed to the continuous story mode in the campaign for single player. Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 game for pc was a success commercially and critically and received 86% from the prestigious GameRankings.

Storyline:
The Soviet Union was in utter ruin after the conquest attempted in Europe which is displayed in Red Alert 2 by Command and Conquer. Their supreme leader Stalin is expired, and the full military force is destroyed. The Allies have realized that a change in regime will cause massive unrest in the Soviet Union. To get the stability and support both in the region, the Allies that are victorious, Alexander Romanov who is a relative of Tsar Nicholas II, as a man to work on the finger tips for Soviet Premier. Romanov completes the demands of the Allies firstly but still he builds a Strong Soviet Army for the purpose of defense which is indeed a cover of an invasion that could be done by America.
The story line of the Red alert 2 pc game goes back in 1972. The scene is that all the forces of United States are completely caught off the guard by the quick and sudden plus huge invasion by the Soviets. Soviets have attacked with aircraft, amphibious forces, naval ships and vessels. And also with the paratroopers who are coming on the scene from the both east and west coast along with the large ground troops which are coming through Mexico. Indeed, the scene depicts the beginning of World War 3.
The United States try its level best to encounter that attack but fail horribly. They try to stop that with the help of their nuclear missiles. But the leader of the Psychic Corps of Soviet named Yuri who is also the top advisor has an active power with which it can control and manipulate the people. These people are in charge of the launch of warheads, and he leaves those personnel to explode missiles in their silos.

How to Fix RA2 Black Screen Issue?

If you are getting a black screen with mouse moving and sound in the background, Just follow the steps below to solve it.
Solution 1:

Download the “RA2 Black Screen Fix” from link given below.
Copy and paste it into the main game folder.
Extract the archive there.
Click on replace if it asks for it.
Run the game.
Enjoy

if it still does not work, then continue with adding following steps.

Open the file named “aqrit.cfg” in notepad. (this file is inside the black screen fix file that you have just extracted following steps given above.. So it should be in your main folder now).
Find the line saying “ForceDirectDrawEmulation”.
Change that to “1”.
Save the file.
Run the game.
